Olympus Stylus 830 digital cameraOlympus Stylus 830

The camera I own is Olympus stylus 830 which I got from my uncle in United Kingdom as a gift.

Well, after two and a half months of use, this camera has served me a lot. Whether my university party is on or there is a trip to hilly area, my camera is there as an extreme pleasure.

Its sleek design and the elegant hand holding grips make it easier to hold. The ergonomic positions of function buttons is yet another innovation.

8.0 mega-pixels is a hell of a resolution for taking shots and having good distinct photos in your real life. Its 5x optical zoom and dynamic image correction is far more superior.

Its screen features anti glare which allows me to take shots in good posture and without eyestrain in 12:00 noon. While its size is big too which enables good eye reading.

The dual image stabilization has benefited me much while I am on my car and want a quick shot. Its quick response plus automatic blur stabilization is amazing to me. Due to this feature, while either you are in your car or riding a stupid bike, you can freely take photos on the go.

This camera is all weather camera which means that if I am at side of pool and want a shot in splashes and spray of water, I can get into it confidently. The protection from moisture, humidity thus greater durability is the best option for me. Its sleek cover protects it from sudden splashes, shocks and sprays.

Another good feature which I personally like is that it senses shooting mistakes like shaky hand, shadows, dim light, red eye and corrects it to the best extent. There are about 26 shooting modes which enable you to use the specific feature corresponding to your environment.

In video mode, it uses all its features to produce an elegant and high quality avi video of 640x480 resolution. The continuous shooting mode is far much better than my previously owned Olympus 3.2 megapixel camera.

One more thing to discuss here is its miniature weight of 125 grams which feels like holding a rose in your hand.

The only feature which I personally don't like is its 14MB of internal memory which is far too short if you don't have an add on XD picture card.

In spite of all above-mentioned specifications, I like my camera very much and I still have not planned to buy a newer one yet. Well go ahead and buy it if you want to put your money into some good expense.
