HP Photosmart D5360 Photo Printer
This printer is absolutely great, producing bright, clear and vivid images every time. I've owned one photo printer before this and have a lot of experience with several others, so I've seen a variety of prints from a variety of different printers. The Photosmart D5360 is by far the best yet. It features its own display screen to pick and choose what pictures to print and what ones not to, and it is also great for last minute customizations such as changing paper sizes, etc. The memory card slots are fantastic for quick printing of pictures from your camera. You don't even need to connect this printer to a PC - it features complete functionality all on its own and even a button for removing red eye. The Photosmart D5360 can even print on the surfaces of CDs and DVDs, adding a level of professionalism and convenience not available in all printers today. This does, however, require a special kind of media and software to do so.
Its low price, inexpensive ink cartridges (around $20 a piece, though there are different options), small and sleek design makes this photo printer an obvious choice for any computer or digital camera user. Why pay to have photos developed or printed at a specialty shop when it is now so easy and more importantly, cost-effective to do it all at home, all by yourself. Not to mention the freedom to do what you want - print out wallet size photos, 5x7s, professional-looking greeting cards that rival those bought in stores, stylish wedding or birthday invitations, etc. The only limit is your own imagination.
All in all I have been very satisfied with this printer. It has given me nothing but great service (as most HP products are known for) for the entire 8 months that I have owned it for, and I find myself using it on nearly a daily basis. I am an amateur photographer who is currently taking college courses, so I snap a lot of photos. Most aren't that great, but I've printed quite a few with the Photosmart D5360 and I am quite satisfied with the results. This printer has already replaced the previous one I had been using - I've already sold it to a friend of mine. I'm going to keep this printer around for quite a while, I can tell that now, and I'm not looking back.
